The 1972 Niles west Football team was the only undefeated team in Niles Township history. There were no playoffs at that time. The following members of that team who went on to play college football are: J. Anderson, D. Conti, R. Lain, B. Mitz, J. Nabolotny, M. Schreiber, S. Zolke, and H. Zyburg.
